God’s Design.

The other day while praying, this was the outcome:

1. What do you want me to do now? – Me

2. Go through – Jesus.

As I continue on this journey of honoring my Mother, things are able to be removed, narrowed and seen. Not just for me but for all.

When Mom gave me the reigns for Eric’s Promise one of the first things I did was deliver peanut butter and jelly to The Holy Family.

1. I dropped off a jar of each at Christ the King church

2. I dropped off a jar of each at St. Joseph Mishawaka Church

3. I dropped off a jar of each at Queen of Peace church

While dropping off 3, where I was baptized, I met a new friend. I am actually staying with that person now as I find my new life. Purging the old yet again and may this be the last purge.

The Simple Path. My Mom gave me this book on my 40th birthday and she bought me another book called “My Life With the Saints.” It brought me so much comfort. I know my life is unique. I know my life is rare. I know not everyone walks with the Saints but I do. When reading this book I thought, “Finally! Someone understands me instead of mocking me or calling me names or spreading false rumors about me!”

Irony of it all is that my Mom is the one who bought it for me and it was to help me lead Eric’s Promise.

Long story short. My Mom always stuck to the one statement that will always hold true. One act of kindness is all you need to make a difference. Look at Eric’s 4 bags of clothes that he gathered on Ash Wednesday 2002 and how Marian took that and ran with it. Marian High School honored him at a 1 month memorial mass and they filled up a truck load and a half of donations. Eric’s Promise continues. 24 years later, at God’s Hand. In Truth.

Luke 18:27

New King James Version

27 But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

in Jesus always, Amen.
