“Eric Henry was a senior at Marian in 2002 when he made a promise to be more giving on Ash Wednesday. The next day he tragically died in a car accident. Since his death, the Marian family and wider community has made sure that Eric’s Promise, “to be more giving” continues.

To mark the 20th Anniversary of Eric’s Promise, each week during Lent, students, faculty & staff will be challenged to participate in doing a specific Act of Kindness that will give life to one another and the greater community. We look forward to seeing how we can live out Eric’s Promise.”

How amazing! I thought that I was the only one sharing this part of Eric’s journey but Marian High School did too! The Spirit of the Rose, God calls it. This is the part of Eric’s journey that God keeps speaking to me about!
