Eric gave $5.00 to his friend before he died so his friend could buy his girlfriend a rose for Valentine’s Day. Eric received this $5.00 from my Grandma in the mail. π That was Eric, giving when he knew it would make a greater impact than spending it himself.
I woke up today to the 411, CVS, Revelation 22, answered prayers through an orange bow, Eric, my brother TJ, my niece Chloe, Luke 1:37 and a huge wave of God’s Grace taking care of all things.
CVS sent me a coupon of $5.00. I initially thought, “Jesus, what do you want me to buy with this?”
As I arrive at the door of CVS a very distraught woman asked me if I had change. I said that I was only there because CVS gave me a $5.00 coupon. I am still not where I need to be financially so thinking of giving it to her didn’t dawn on me until I walked into the store.
My eyes immediately hit “Vitamin and Drink.” I went back outside and gave her 3 snacks, a divine mercy prayer and bought her a Body Armor drink with the coupon.
I again, not realizing that is what all of this information aka the 411 was about, started walking to my car. It then dawned on me the story of Eric and his $5.00. I went back to the woman and told her that she was the reason I came and she was grateful to hear that God chose her.
Those who are suffering to a great degree are never forgotten by God. They are simply forgotten by people. That’s where Eric and his acts of kindness come in as an example in how to live.
If you see someone worse off than you asking for help, sacrifice something and help them.
God Bless, Melissa, Eric’s sister
