Hygiene.

Hello folks. As I am in the field with those in need, when time and safety allows, I am being prompted to speak on unspeakable things. Things that we can easily help.

Bottom line is Christ. Bottom line is keeping it simple. Bottom line is to stop ignoring something that can easily be cured. A broken heart doesn’t take much to help mend.

When we act in thoughtfulness we win.

When we act in genuine care we win.

When we act in sincerity we win.

When we come together to meet the simple needs of being human we win.

Let’s get back to the basics. God is speaking of blessing bags, care packages and now hygiene gifts.

One day when eating with those who are homeless a very simple need became clear. A man celebrated after he visited the share table at the meal we were eating. He was proclaiming his joy about finding nail clippers.

One of the very first things I did for my homeless friend Ron was clip his nails for him. He was part blind and couldn’t do it himself nor did he want anyone else to do it except me. It is because I care, genuinely, sincerely and thoughtfully.

Those in need can see sharper than a pistol. They know immediately if you are trustworthy.

The one main thing we all need to focus on helping is clean hands.

Think of items as you are shopping that clean hands. Not just antibacterial but whatever God shows you, please buy it. Give it to a homeless person please. Thank you.

Much Love and in Jesus’ name. Amen.
