Another new way to be more giving has arrived.

I found out that my blood type is rare and only 4% of the population have it. Pretty cool to say the least. It feels like a blessing in a way above and beyond my understanding.

For months God kept guiding me to donate blood. To me it was kinda scary. 🙂 It only took about 10 minutes though. There are plenty of ways to give blood. These days donation trucks are everywhere and drives are plentiful. So, no need to be afraid. If you see a truck just jump in, donate blood and save a life or two or three. 🙂

This specific place emails you your blood type and fun facts about it. They also email you once your blood has been used to help someone! That was so exciting to hear and got me all fueled up to help. Actually knowing who we help is so rewarding. Anyone can donate blood, money, food or clothing but when we know who it’s going to that makes the impact wider, truer and rewarding above and beyond words.

I am happy to say my blood is now saving lives. How amazing. Join the drive and be the light.
