All of my life my step-dad would say, “You can’t do that, That won’t work. That’s not possible.” These things were his attitude toward me ever since I was young. He mocked my faith and called me crazy. He would watch evil movies even to the degree that when my Mom came home from colon surgery, he had one on, and when I asked him to go get her food he threw a tantrum. I replied with, I am trying to make sure she stays alive while you watch that ^*+^. At the hospital, when I first arrived after this colon surgery, I asked him what happened. He couldn’t even tell me and ended up leaving her that night of her surgery while I stayed and watch her go through near death experiences. Before he left the hospital I overheard a conversation in Moms hospital room of him and his son Nick. He said, “Well I wouldn’t get the husband of the year award.” That was his MO. I stepped in to help while everyone was mad at the situation and took it out on me. I even got reprimanded by my Mom that day for asking for prayers! I reached out on Facebook and told everyone that she was in the hospital. That made her livid and told me that this was an act of disrespect. Oh. Really? Asking for help in the form of prayer is disrespect when someone is about to die? I see.
That is the truth of my parents. Never believing anything I said and mocking me and my love for Christ.
Fast forward to the day Mom died. I saw the devil all day long. The mark of the beast. 666. As mentioned in a previous post, Joe Molnar didn’t call me to tell me anything. You know why? I see the truth.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
