Yahweh is amazing!

My homeless friend Benjamin always exchanges the Word of God with me and with ease.

He received two napkins from The Table Restaurant in Louisville. Apparently you can volunteer there for a free meal. These napkins are very special. A pink one and a navy blue one. I had been painting about this in the last two years and when Benjamin said that he wanted to create something on these two napkins with me I knew this is what God had been preparing me for.

I immediately went all in with honoring God on these napkins with Benjamin. The first napkin was pink and that story has been written already. Today we finished the navy blue one.

What a journey that was! He finally gave it to me as we played the piano together outside a music store.

I painted a white cross on it and saved it for when I saw him again. I put it in the Book of Luke while Luke 3:33 was prominent.

It was amazing. While he was waiting for food from Exit Zero I saw him and told him that the cross was ready. We chatted and I said I would get the cross and come back in 10 minutes. He said, “What time is it?” I responded, 3:33, as it stated on my phone.

When I pulled out the napkin I was reminded that I had placed it in Luke 3:33. All was aligned. So far, so good.

We parted ways after the Angel Outreach and I had mentioned that I would be at the bridge. Hoping to see him there later but left it in God’s Hands. He knew it was important to me to complete it in the window of time though. God is quick and he needs us to be too.

After we parted I flipped open my Bible and it landed on Matthew Chapter 5, the Beatitudes. Everywhere I land this is what God shows me matters most. I left it open and continued to go sit under the pavilion.

Under the pavilion I heard a man who was very upset and was speaking about the abuse in the county jail. I consoled him and spoke to him in length about his experience. Goosebumps/Truthbumps validated everything he was saying.

We parted ways as I went to go write about the Angels Outreach gifts that I had received just a little bit prior to this sitting.

I heard The Lord say, “Get up and walk.” As I got up this man was right alongside me. We walked the bridge together and spoke more about how similar our spiritual makeup was. I had never met anyone who speaks like me until him. It was amazing!

As we finish our walk I see Benjamin working on the cross! I was so excited! He wrote Matthew 5, a passage from the Beatitudes on it! I was flabbergasted as Heaven had me flip to that as my point of reference for this time.

Me, Benjamin and our new friend Sun all spoke a good half hour about Christ, our doubts, fears and strengths.

The most rewarding day of my life in so many ways.

I had read Psalm 91 to another homeless man earlier in the day and Galatians 5 to Benjamin prior to completing the exchange of the cross!

Glory be to God, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
