“Nehemiah 8:10
New International Version
10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.””

I have so many reasons to grieve but God says that there is not time for that. We only have time to love, forgive and to keep walking, to keep moving forward.
I have 1 call. Combine all of the gifts and responsibilities into 1 walk. So it is. We have too many people to love, to inspire and to help for us to sulk in darkness.
Nothing gives me more joy than to see God work.
My homeless Jesus friend came right on time to confirm what Heaven has been showing me and to confirm what I have been conveying to you all.
I was tested. When I first saw this man I offered him a Bloom drink. God immediately showed me “Temple Construction” and “Overflow Construction.” Those that walk with Christ know this language. We build. We block. We blow down old houses that don’t belong in God’s Kingdom and we lift up others who are doing the same.
I invited my Jesus friend to a community meal that night but when we got there the Church was having a Revival night and only gave out bologna sandwiches, eggs, chips and water. My friend was so discouraged and sad as these are very unhealthy ways to give.
I asked him if he wanted my items and he said, “Would you eat it?” I said, “No.” I was so upset with myself because just the day before I posted to not give what we would not want. This is WHY this man showed up.
Do not give what we would not want to receive ourselves. Do not slip up and offer easy food instead of healthy food. The next three days I made him healthy food from the kitchen available to me.
Today, He was gone and so I was moved to give farm fresh onions, farm fresh cooked squash and hardboiled eggs to a man in the nearby town. I cooked this and placed it all in prayer last night.
I was so full of joy. The man was waiting underneath The Pines.
When I was praying about Michigan City a handful of years ago, God showed me “Find the Row of Pines.” I see this has now come full circle within Divine Mercy.
All of these dates, names and clues from God always lead me to someone who is in need of what Jesus has told me to do. Homeless. Those that are homeless.
Eric’s Posters from when St. Vincent de Paul was truly on board to help said, “Eric heard the cry of the poor.” Yes, Eric did. That is what God is telling all of us to do BUT in a way that is genuine, healthy and real. Not just feeding a number but getting to know Christ and how we are being guided. Listen, He says. Listen.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
